This micro was a former hairdressers so hence the name. This was a very cosy micro, which had been tasty finished. We called here just after opening on a Tuesday and received a very warm welcome from locals, who were telling jokes and advising us on good pubs to visit. There were three ales to choose from on our visit, Heritage St Mowden, Lincoln Green Marion and Milton Nike, plus a choice of six ciders all seved from a small cold room on the left hand side of a small bar area. The pub has recently won Thanet Camra Cider pub of the Year. Prices in here were also excellent at £3 a pint, so I enjoyed a couple of pints of the St Mowden. There is also a good chip shop opposite, where you can bring your food into the pub, or visa versa take your beer across the road. Well worth a visit.

Light furniture and decor for a micro-pub, but otherwise pretty much the usual deal. Good atmosphere, with friendly village banter but no gawping at a random visitor. Unusually, there were more ciders on offer (5) than real ales (3), but my pint of Maiden Voyage from Bosun's Brewery (£3.00) was first class. Well worth seeking out.

Minsters only micro pub run by Gary,Julie with Trish & Johnny R it serves 3 real ales straight out of the Barrel<also 6 Ciders , wine Coffee & Tea with nuts or Crisps. All with a smile and general banter , no TV No Music ,Fish & Chips can be brought from across the road. All in the size of a front Room. All welcome drop in
